Day one and two at Albuquerque New Mexico

We had a very short trip from bluewater to Albuquerque we're staying at Corona campground it's a city park. Has quite a nice shelters.

Today we checked off one of the items on our bucket list and that was to fly in a hot air balloon. When I signed up for it was going to be a sunrise which sounded wonderful until you realize you have to get up about an hour and a half before sunrise.
It was amazing and the pics below do not do it justice.


There was 12 of us in The gondola.





They are on the way down to touch the Rio grande River. We did the same thing.

Notice that the gondola is sideways. When we landed we were going about 12 mph and hit five times and it laid on its side, lots of fun.

    Did you go to Bernalillo for it? That’s where we stayed at the KOA Bernalillo. We are heading to Nebraska for a one night stop Illinois for a one night stop in Indiana. My mom broke her hip! Surgery today!

Little Rock Arkansas maumelle corps of engineer Park

This was probably the rainest day on the trip so far. Let's go right here Nice campsite right on the Arkansas River. We have mayflies here in fact this is only two of thousands that were on the camper. We were able to go for a bike ride on an extremely nice trail that crosses some water Met this family that didn't say much that was also on the bike trail. You can see the rain coming. On our way back to the car it started raining hard and we look to the right and there was a shelter so we stayed there for about 15 minutes until it stopped. The rain glistened through the pines We have been here before and wanted to climb Pinnacle mountain and the weather was not good to do that so we'll have to come back.

April 29th Vicksburg Mississippi

We traveled about 5 hours to get to Vicksburg Mississippi, the site of a major battle in the civil war. We are camping at Ameristar casino campground a nice campground. We had to support the local casino so Becky put in a dollar and within 10 minutes it was gone
